we still have a milk man and have had one here for the last 50 years since we moved in !
Milkmen, Window Cleaners and Tea Sellers, all still going but struggling professions I would imagine.

We had a mobile fishmonger in Acomb, York til lockdownWe still have a fish man that comes to the village. And a window cleaner too.
The difference now is that they text mr when they are going to call.

Ours charges £8 for front and side if we're not home, or £12 for all the way round and onto the extension to do the velux windows too if we're home to let them round the back.My mates a window cleaner, he's on about £40 an hour. Reckons he's earns much less than other window cleaners he knows. If you're prepared to go down to that there London, you can make upwards of a grand a day apparently!
