For those calling for Carrick to go

In your opinion yes not in the eyes of many other fans. Best win percentage of any Boro manager in history.

I named 4 managers spud
I would never question anyone’s love or support of the Boro on this board, but I do question people’s ambition, which you well and truly fall into that category.

Tatty watter.

I'm sick of this ' give your head a wobble' ' your too emotional ' it's gonna be fine, we will finish top 6.

It's all just BS. We aren't gonna finish top 6 playing like this.

Defensively it's absolutely apalling. We're a laughing stock.

It doesn't make you less of a fan if you want a manager change.
Are we really a laughing stock? I very much doubt that. Many pundits and opposition fans rave about how we play.

There is nothing wrong with wanting a manager change but who will do any better than Carrick.

Like people have said its not down to them to know who would replace him but surely it's best to have a little bit of insight into who is going to manage/coach our club and take us forward

Define ambition? A recruitment team who bring in players for peanuts get the coach to improve them then sell them on for big money.

Bringing youngsters through from our academy and getting them into the first team.

Yes performances have not been great recently but it's not like we are gonna go and get carlo ancelotti to take us up to the premier league

You wouldn’t be calling for Carrick to go if we had won more games and found ourselves competing for automatic.

You’d all be singing his praises if we had a hard working, industrious and talented team, with a machine like mentality which grinds out results, rain or shine.

If that’s your comeback, good for you.

You are clearly struggling with the response to your bull**** OP, but then again, you are just after attention.
Not at all sir you didn't post my message in your original reply. Not thirsty at all

Your ambition, don’t hide behind the recruitment team.

I think Carrick should go. He is under achieving with what (on paper) looks a very good team. Do I think he will go? Absolutely not. He will stay until the end of the season and if / when we miss out on the playoffs he can’t say he wasn’t backed and will leave by mutual consent.

I hope this comes back to bite me when we go on a great run and win promotion through the playoffs……but it just doesn’t feel like it does it?

I like carrick but it’s now becoming a joke this defence lark, does he honestly not see what every Boro fan sees week in week out yet he doesn’t change it or seems to learn from our mistakes. Keep him until end of season and if he fails to get us up via play off then he has to go, gibbo has backed him from start this season.

The football has been awful to watch for a long time now. We’re going nowhere with him. We missed our chance to change him unfortunately.

No point changing now, but if Boro, as I now think, don’t finish 6th then a serious decision is needed in the summer.
I agree about the summer. But what if you gave this squad an experienced manager. We have enough at the top end to score but we are our own worst enemies defensively.

Would an Allerdyce, Dyche keep watching their team pizz points up the wall this way?
