Football Manager 2025 DELAYED!

Here is how to get the fm25 update for FM24(made by Zealand who is a brilliant FM content creator).

Here is also a couple of links to my favourite FM content creators on YouTube.

You can get some really good hints and tips from these channels and also plug and play tactics.

To be honest, you don't need much by way of hints and tips, just download a killer tactic and you are good to go.

I thought plug and play wasn’t meant to be good due to ai being able to counter somewhat
It's not as good as the old days where you could just use a tactic and it would be a guaranteed winner. Tactics that work for City don't work for Boro as well because the players aren't good enough. It also takes time for players to become familiar with a tactic so you don't get instant results and if one works then the opposition do work it out over time so you have to switch it up every season.

I find FM24 is just constantly being in meetings with players complaining because someone rubbish is complaining about being treated badly because they aren't getting enough playing time. None of the responses appease them and your form suffers because they are always unhappy. That's tedious. It makes sense you would have a load of unhappy players if you aren't winning but it happens when you are winning as well and I don't think it's realistic that players are complaining about the 3rd choice left back not getting enough playing time when you are top of the league.

I play CM and FM more like a Director of Football than an in-game manager. Signing players and watching them develop is the bit I enjoy. I prefer the text based version. I don't want to make subs and adjust things in game. I definitely don't want to watch it in real time. If I was doing that I'd just play FIFA. I have an add-in for FM24 so I can get an instant result. I pick the team and the tactics and the computer does the rest.
This can be infuriating! I'm about 8 or 9 seasons in now, and have won a lot, so I can tell them to do one and they back down, but the first 4 or 5 seasons before I was winning things I lost plenty of players through paddy's that just wouldn't happen IRL.

Agreed, the games are far too complicated now.
You can cut back on a lot of the game with training, media etc by just handing over to the assistant, but the best part of the game is just how in depth it all is. Really sets it apart from similar games and stops it getting boring too quickly

I really don't understand people playing 01/02. It's text based isn't it? Rubbish! You can't even see what's going on. Even the old school football manager from the 80s had little stick men kicking the ball about. Each to their own I suppose.

TBH the first thing you do when starting the new game is make your assistant manager do everything apart from picking the team and transfers. The only really annoying thing is having to deal with players moaning and that's just every now and then.
It was great for being text based. Like being a kid and only seeing the score updates on Ceefax. The sense of not knowing is what makes it addicting.

FM Touch was excellent, it really scaled back a lot of the unnecessary features (if you don't like them) but they dropped it from the PC version after FM21

Just taken over at Newcastle mid-season after Xabi Alonso left.

Currently renewing all players contracts for 5 years, plus a player's option of an extra year if they play 5 games in the 5th season and also giving annual wage rises of up to 50%.

Disappointingly the clause "match highest earner" isn't available for the club to offer but apparently only as a player request, so from the financial forecast the wage bill doesn't seem to get out of control until year 4.

You can download a killer tactic and take a League 2 side to mid-table prem within 6 or 7 seasons and the Prem title within 10 seasons. It possibly is seen as cheating, but those tactics are out there is you look around and then focus your recruitment on good young players who fit into that tactic.

Press release

I might go back and revive my career built around Cherno Samba.
I started a new save the other day on FM24 in the create a club section.
I named the club Teesside United we play at Steel River park which is based in Stockton. The best bit is to create a club you basically need to replace an existing club in a league which essentially deletes the original club, Leeds United no longer exist in my current save game Universe, which is an added bonus.

This is pretty much how I used to like to play the game. I played FM10 for an obscene amount of hours because of the genie scout add on tool thing that you used to be able to get.

You got the full player database and all their data of ability, potential ability, professionalism and all the other hidden attributes. It made the in game scouts completely redundant but allowed you to build teams up from nothing.

I remember taking Billingham Town to the premier league in one of my games, loved it.

I think the developers clocked onto the FM Genie thing and put in their own in game editor but it just wasn't the same when you can just change your players to be world beaters on a whim.
