It certainly was good to meet everyone again and norfolkred1 for the first time.
El Guapo - I will have to pick your brain regarding your train trip up and down the East and West Coasts of America, it sounds really interesting and right up my street.
We have penciled in another coffee morning for Saturday 24th Feb but might have to cancel that one due to a certain cup final we will be playing in. ;)

speak for yourself... I was all dolled up to meet everyone! Lippy and everything. Those road trips do sounds right up my street. I've driven small road trips from LA-Vegas, Dallas to Austin and various other countries. (Germany the worst! crazy drivers!)Oh believe me you don’t want to see that

Yes it was a really nice get together. Nicky wasn’t originally going to stay but she said she really enjoyed meeting everyone and thought our conversational topics weren’t as nerdy as she thought they would be (her word, not mine) and was pleased she could join in.
We will wait to see what happens on Tuesday night before we organise a get together on Feb 24th; in the meantime, the retirees and gainfully unemployed may well meet in the meantime on a Thursday or Friday.

Glad you had a good time sorry I couldn’t come up.
Drove up for the two cup games earlier in the month so couldn’t really justify a third trip in a few weeks.
as for the date in Feb - you should be thinking positively and organising a get together on the morning of the final somewhere in London.
