Fmttm adverts

#8
I'm currently getting plagued by the 'Want matures?, find your 40+ mate' adverts. In the old days it used to be one for (I think) very young looking Russian brides on the old FMTTM site.

How clever is this new site that it's even spotting my slide into middle age and adjusting the adverts accordingly. It'll be adverts for Saga holidays and Brylcreem next.....😬

At least the the Trump ones seem to have gone away. Maybe google eventually took notice of me reporting them as inappropriate.

Mine are all pretty much straight laced. Tech ads, Sky offers, cycling stuff etc.
I did notice that I get a few more nature singles ads when I'm browsing during my break on nightshift. Maybe they think I'm lonely if I'm awake and on the internet at 3am

And they are also depriving Rob of revenue which will keep this new board running.
I'd ask you to think about whitelisting this site, politics threads and all, so that we are able to keep this new board in existence.
Fair point . Pardon my ignorance but I didn’t know you could whitelist ! Can you do it here or on own ad blocker ?

Why subject yourself to the ads highlighted in this thread, eg 'Want matures?, find your 40+ mate' adverts.

Its been asked before about a subscription service? How much revenue does this board need per month to generate to cover costs? How much does it generate? Do you get more revenue for Arab dating than spearfishing wetsuits?

I'd rather not read the board than have to have ads forced on me.

You whitelist in your ad-blocker.
As for the ads themselves, if there is anything inappropriate then you can report an ad by clicking on the little x and selecting 'stop seeing this ad' and it will be replaced by another.
