I had a mate who went from Phuket to Bangkok on a bus, then from Bangkok to Singapore on the train. Does that count? He is a Boro fan.
 
I travelled from Phuket to Chiang Mai and then Chiang Rai via combination of bus and train.

I then took the slowboat across to Luang Prabang in Laos, I got dengue fever there and was very ill and alone. (fell asleep pi$$ed on the boat without mozzie spray).

If you wanna finish it or nobody can add more from any of my spots then:

Did a motorbike trip through Laos and into Vietnam to Hanoi. (where I currently live).

Flew home from Hanoi (a 3 hour layover in Doha if that counts) to Manchester.

By my reading, that's arguably our flights all burned if we count connections or we have one left and need to get back from Manchester 👍
 
Or if you want to start again, I’ve flown from Teesside to Heathrow, and then Heathrow direct to both San Francisco or Hong Kong dependent on which way you want to go!

Thats perfect B_N. Hanoi is our latest stopover. Still 2 flights to burn.
 
Just caught up with this. To go back to crossing The Pacific, I did NZ to Los Angeles. I was supposed to stop off in the Pacific, but couldn't get a flight out for 9 weeks so went direct.
 
Just been driving from Saltburn to Gatwick (literally just now and not part of this thread 🙂 )

I'm confused reading what's happened. Where are we on the pretend circumnavigation 👀
