That's my thinking. No point getting ready opening if it's in Tier 3 I'd have thought?
Obviously they can do takeouts but I don't imagine the business model is based on that.

Can see them doing Uber eats etc as many do
'German cuisine' - not a phrase you hear often.I'm not a fan of it at all for food, although I don't mind it for drinking.
Mrs Jumpers is a big fan, and used to visit a couple of times a month when staying at the Renaissance round the corner, but I find it a bit meh (although it must be said I'm not a huge fan of German cuisine so not exactly the target market).
Not much worse foodwise I can think of than cold burger and fries.
you buy a burger, buy a size of fries and a size of soft drink or milkshakePiece in the Gazette and it said someone had paid £30 for two burgers and two shakes! As a non fast food eater, this seems ludicrous, or is that just standard price now.
you buy a burger, buy a size of fries and a size of soft drink or milkshake
you then pick from a list of toppings for the burger, they scoop the size of fries out, put them in the bag then scoop it again so getting a large fries is a huge error. Then milkshake same as burger - pick as many ingredients from list as you like, or soft drink they have machines where you can pick flavours and there’s about 1000 combos all told.
a burger is £6.95 up to £8.95 for bacon cheeseburger - these are decent size and two pattys.
fries are £4.50 medium but can probably get away with a small
shake is £5.25 or soft drink £3.65, unlimited refills on the soft drinks
Anyone moaning over the price quite simply isn’t their demographic - they will do very well and they’re usually always busy. It’s like going out to a pizza joint and moaning it’s bit as cheap as a takeaway pizza. It’s not fine dining but it’s miles better than kfc / McDonald’s etc
bacon in a milkshake sounds weird but it’s candied bacon and it’s immense
the inside looks and feels like a wimpy/Burger King/McDonald’s, that’s why people baulk at the price when they come across
5.25 for a milkshake. Seems steep to me. 3.65 for a soda refill- again seems expensive
I agree a small chips doing 2 people
personally I don’t think five guys is value for money
There is or was one in Doha, Qatar. They used to do a burger with a pound of beef. Ridiculous.Fuddruckers...the best burger place I've ever been to.View attachment 22215
