Pythons silly walks sketch was co written by him so I think he was entitled to use it to great affect.

Mind you the N word was edited out from the same episode. It was written in to show " old perceptions and values " but it is best that it is now on the cutting room floor.

Mixed feelings. Great comedy.
But makes me think is this the best the BBC can do with their billions. Regurgitate 50 year old comedy..
They're all out there on other media. Plus who hasn't seen them all at least 3 times. They should have a dedicated channel - stick it on BBC3 or something.

It's years since a tv comedy actually made me lol. You can quote the script; there's sight gags; Cleese and Sachs's movement alone would be funny in a silent comedy.

Never really liked it. Couple of lol moments but mostly just silly.

Was never really a fan. For me it lacked the warmth and sublety of our great sitcoms/comedies.
