This picture was used on the cover of an album, can anyone remind me of the name of the band? It’s been driving me mad trying to remember it.

The photo of the fans walking around in front of the Holgate was used as an EP cover by The Fernweh - "Is This Man Bothering You"

love this picture and the reaction of different individuals in the crowd and by the side of the pitch the pure disbelief that we never scored was in the Clive road and I still remember the feeling at the time of how the fck did we miss that

Which one of the two?

The one with the three lads walking in front of the Holgate being followed by two policemen (46684). I remember it wasn't a hugely famous band, in fact I don't think I'd heard of them until I saw a copy of their album cover. I tried searching various record fairs, eBay etc a few years ago to try to get a copy but wasn't lucky enough to find it, now I've forgotten the name of the band, must be old age!

I remember when David Hodgson was injured and we had a big cup game and he got up onto one of the stantions in the Holgate singing his head off.

I swear there was a pic but can't find it anywhere?

It was against West Brom, FA Cup 3rd round 1981. Someone goaded him into staring a song whilst standing on one of the crush barriers in the centre of the Holgate. He was wearing a Columbo style gray trench coat.

There is. Intrigue got the better of me so I've just nipped upstairs to dig out the match programme from our following home game (v Crystal Palace) and sure enough theres a grainy black & white pic of a raised David Hodgson and another holding up a Boro scarf.
