When I was a kid I had a Guiness Book of Records with a picture similar to this one in.

But I'm thinking the writing must've been bigger ?
Was that against Leeds?
Friday night if I recall. Lost 3-2. The whole game is on YouTube not that anybody wants to relive it all again.remember the sky TV coming in the early days, a night match v Oldham, pizzing down, all the razamatazz, inflatables and cheer leaders, they built a temp hut in the corner for the pundits ... hated it . get the fck out of Ayresome
Not sure. Maybe Gary Hamiltons testimonial gameWas that against Leeds?
A pitch invasion cleared in record time by a police dog.
We had South Stand season tickets for seven years, 1988-1995. Only me left now, and so it’s always an odd feeling picking out our old seats. I expect Ayresome Park is, for many, about memories of people they knew; as much as about the football. UTBOur season tickets were the South Stand above the Chicken Run and the huge white rectangular Longines clock situated on the North Stand opposite always made me feel that I was "home". That clock was replaced by the Newcastle Brewery clock but did not give the same feeling.

That's me front row 4th from the left, next to my mum (R.I.P) This was either Wolves or Brighton, at the end of the 1990/91 season, the one we got in the playoffs with Colin Todd, as those were my first two games before i graduated to behind the goal in the holgate with my dad the next season. This is mine, mainly because I'm in it! I have the original framed in me house. Its by Roy Stuart Clarke of the "Homes of Football" museum.

I will be watching that again, not just for Ayresome Park, Big Jack and Boro, but also to remind me of what winters used to be like.
WBAI remember when David Hodgson was injured and we had a big cup game and he got up onto one of the stantions in the Holgate singing his head off.
I swear there was a pic but can't find it anywhere?
I'm the little fella right down the front whose face is slightly blocked by the fencing. It's where I used to stand for most games back then. Me Dad (R.I.P.), who used to take me, is probably just out of shot to the left of the picture. That's me front row 4th from the left, next to my mum (R.I.P) This was either Wolves or Brighton, at the end of the 1990/91 season, the one we got in the playoffs with Colin Todd, as those were my first two games before i graduated to behind the goal in the holgate with my dad the next season.
