Favourite Boro Team From The Last 5 Seasons

Carricks team is the one I most enjoy watching.

However, based on the line ups and never having seen them play at the time, this is the one I was most excited to see.

2017-18 Monk/Pulis
Randolph
Christie Ayala Gibson Friend
Howson Leadbitter
Traore Bamford Downing
Assombalonga

Traore pelting up the wing, Bamford continuing his good form and Assombalonga knocking them in. As it turned out, the highlight of that team was seeing Ayala play a game after February.

Carrick 22/23 is my favourite. The top one is by far the strongest on paper - should have won the league but for the two shyte managers.
My first thought was how strong is that first team! Players with genuine Premier League ability.

I just don't understand how that first team failed so badly. When Gibbo said 'Smash the championship ' I think If you shown any fan of any club that team before a ball was kicked thar year and said 'where will that team finish' they'd all say top 2 at the least
Monk and Pulis should really be ashamed

As for this team and why it's my favourite.
We gave a manager who doesn't compromise his principles and style of play, calm, collected and I'm gonna say I've never seen a manager become so loved so quickly.
Flanked by a man who we all wish could've been the man to produce this, Teesside through and through but he's a much better coach!
They're Flanked by Teesside's favourite mackerel who epitomised everything good about our previous promotion winners.
The three of them clearly just compliment each other, they get it.
I love the team celebrations, they are all together.
We score goals for fun, we play excellent football, if we go 1 down you still think we're gonna win, we're solid defensively.
We have a goalscorer we've been dreaming of for years, players who can actually cross a ball, players that gave just connected with the fans. Goals from all over the team, new signings thar actually make sense and a DOF that communicates with the fans and clearly loves the manager.
This coaching team has rejuvenated the town, the team, the board. Its wonderful.
I bet Steve Gibson is planning on giving Carrick the world to ensure If we don't go up thus year we will next

Is 2019/2020 missing a man?
Rudy ‘the fly in the ointment’ Gestede
Too attacking. You can definitely fit another centre back in there. Swap Batth or Fry for the shortest midfielder.
------------------Randolph----------------
-----------McNair--Flint--Shotton--------
Howson--Clayton--Mikel--Besic---Saville
--------------Gestede--Hugill--------------

ADAMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
