This makes me so annoyed knowing we didn't even give Aston Villa a game in either of the 2 play off legs.

3 of that same back 5 gained autos only a couple seasons earlier. And you could even argue the GK was better than Dimi.

2 of the front 4 have played PL football for a good number of years now.

The midfield 2 are as good as any 'Championship' midfielders over the last 10 seasons.

Goes to show how much of a sh!tshow Monk & Pulis really were as managers.
 
Why is it Carrick 22/23? Because of the brand of football on display. In 49 years the teams I've appreciated most are those primarily built on sound defence and those have tended to be the most successful. I often describe myself as 'Pulis in fan form' but I'm absolutely loving what I'm seeing at the moment. Other team scores...who gives a flying one....you always feel confident we'll create chances and, most importantly, stick them away.👍
 
Its obvious Carrick's is going to be pick - We are 3rd and in the middle of one of the best runs i can remember, we are scoring goals for fun. Something we haven't done for what seems like years.

I was a Dimi fan but for me Randolph was streets ahead.

Too attacking. You can definitely fit another centre back in there. Swap Batth or Fry for the shortest midfielder.
