• Sven Goran Eriksson on the same plane as me when I was about 15 (signed my copy of World Soccer)

• Bill Bailey making his way out of a tube station

• David Lloyd wandering down the street in Helmsley

• David Batty in a cafe in Scarborough

• Jeremy Clarkson and James May in the chippy I used to work at

• Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks wrestling at Whitby Pavillion

• Jason Durr (PC Mike Bradley) from Heartbeat in our kitchen

• Tyson Fury in Yarm

If Big Daddy was wrestling could you argue that wasnt random?

Anyway my best is Kate Omara having coffee in my kitchen along with Arthur Bostrum who had tea.
It was more the fact that they were performing in Whitby that was random 😉

Rob Nichols in our living room to watch the Teesside premiere of the film about the 1966 North Koreans with Dan Gordon (Director and producer and later BAFTA winner for Hillsborough). It was random because it wasn't supposed to be here but the place we'd arranged had its VCR knackered.
And Gianluca Festa in the Burberry factory shop in Whitby. His kids were running riot. He was out injured at the time with a bad ankle. I stood on his foot. Not on purpose.

Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams sat next to me on the Tube.

Astronomer Royal Sir Martin Rees walked past me outside The Globe Theatre in London

Kevin Phillips stood behind me and my kids with his family in a queue at Lightwater Valley.
