Famous people who fooled you with their real accent.

Absolutely I have lots of friends in Baltimore, I lived there for two years and my apartment building and favourite bar were in it, my friends were amazed at Idris being English, couldn’t get there heads around lad it. McNulty accent is less convincing

I guess stringer was always meant to be true Baltimore, where as Jimmy was “Irish” Baltimore

Some good accents in game of thrones. Peter Dinklage is American isn't he?

And the lass who played Jon Snow's bit of rough (and is married to Kit Harrington). She practically speaks the King's English in real life.
Yeah Peter Dinklage's real accent is the one he has in In Bruge, he's American.

Tbh I always thought Tyrian's super regal English accent was a bit ridiculously over-the-top and he leaned into it because he couldn't really nail a realistic English accent. The one that surprised me was Rob Stark, perfect Salford accent, then you watch The Bodyguard and he's a smooth Scot in real life.

Ade Edmondson --- talks proper Kings English ... always thought he had a northern yorkshire twang ( ps sold a few 45rpm records to him over the years from my old shop in Wingate)
