Everton's Run in

Not sure there’s ever been a team relegated with a comparable wage bill to them. For all it’s hilarious when the geordies go down, Ashley did spend relatively sensibly on wages. Everton for a few years have been spending to try and crack the top four, they’ve famously spent more than Liverpool over the last 5 or 10 years, can’t remember which.

And like others said… I have no idea where the money’s gone. They have very little quality outside of Richarlison, DCL, Pickford. Not sure they’d find buyers for many of the others.

Would be one hell of a wakeup call.

I assume their friends in the Premier League and the halls of power would step in to save them and find a way to punish one of those scummy little clubs that dont deserve a place at the top table. (like they did with West Ham and Sheff Utd)

They got 2 penalties last night and still lost. What more do they have to do?

Doesn't this just show up this whole big name trendy manager fallacy. What has Lampard done as a manager to warrant the Everton managers role, especially at such a crucial time.

Nailed on if they'd have got Chris Wilder or Steve Cooper in there then they would be comfortably safe by now but they aren't big name enough for the Premier League Ra Ra's!

If they lose today and Burnley win they will officially be in the bottom 3 ( on same games played as well).

Even a Burnley draw could see them leap them on GD.

If they are relegated - it will be something to behold - watching the money- rats deserting the sinking ship at the speed of shtt off a stick.
Everton could never afford the leeches and parasites.
They`l be selling players off on the cheap, to get them off the wage bill.
No huge TV income and less advertising / sponsors.
Might have to earn a living for a change.
No big breaks and billiard pitches.
46 games + cups.
A cold wet night in Plymouth or Milton Keynes would wake them up to "reality"(y)
Looking at who gets promoted next season [from Lg 1] - they could be playing any three from:

If Everton draw and Burnley win they'll be in the bottom 3...so it's only a goal away from part one of many people on here's wet dream.

But for me....f,u,CK em all.

COME ON BORO!!

True... but I'd like Everton to go down. Was hoping to see them in the bottom three by the end of the weekend. (Still, I guess there's still time for that in the next few weeks).
