Euro 2028 UK and Ireland

I went to the Euros in 96 and couldn't afford a season ticket for the Boro due to attending 3, qualifiers at Elland Rd, the Quarter Final at Anfield, the Semi Final at Old Trafford, and the Final at Wembley.

I still have all the tickets, etc. upstairs.

Germany would be a great place to go and watch them. Just need to stay away from the English fans.
 
Yep we got our application in, not hopeful as we "only" went for cheapest and second cheapest but the risk, given the spread of games we applied for, would have been financially ruinous otherwise :)

Currently got hotels booked across three regions so hopefully at least 1-2 in a region. Will resell any over and above what we need (assuming there's an official resale platform as previous).

Even if we don't get tickets I think we'll still go, but make the decision re: city when the draw is made (again, hoping to avoid the more "boisterous" countries!)
 
I am going for Leipzig and Munich as they are the venues wed most like to visit. The train between Leipzig and Munich is about £60 and takes just 3 hours fast.

Have you selected will accept tickets in higher categories? Increases your chances and no obligation to purchase.
 
Staying in Dusseldorf as a base as you've got Dusseldorf itself, and Gelsenkirchen, Cologne and Dortmund all within easy reach via train.

I haven't but I thought you were obliged to buy everything you get? Certainly how I read it. You either purchase everything you "win" or lose the lot.

If so, would have pushed it well above our budget.

I haven't finalised my application just yet but you are probably right on that thinking about it. (y) I've been very successful past 2 euros on the UEFA portal so hoping to get the same again.

Edit You are correct yes, cheers for bringing that to my attention. Could have been a grave error that :ROFLMAO:

I went to 2006 WC. Spent a lot of the time in cities where England weren’t playing. Munich when Oz/Brazil was going on was a particular favourite.

I am in a group of mates who will buy any spares off me so I am thinking about over ordering knowing I can onsell them to others.
