England v Italy 7:45pm

It was a missed opportunity undoubtedly, but Italy were unbeaten in 30 odd games, which I believe was the longest run ever in the history of international football, it was never going to anything but very difficult.
Makes them failing to qualify for the World Cup even more bizarre. (And quite funny).

Can’t argue with that really wanted to see a centre back change and also good to see Abraham start. Probably would of started Bowen aswell but apart from that can’t complain. Hope Ramsdale has a solid game in goal

Sorry joey but this is nonsense. Italy were on the back of a winning steak over about 2 years. It was always going to be a tough game. Tonight will also be tough. England too shade it for me, probably by 1 goal, maybe a second late on.
I don't like your predictions mate. They make me nervous. Usually with Boro, when you say we're going to hold on for 1-0, and ten minutes later we've lost 2-1!! :ROFLMAO:

(TBF - that exact scenario has probably never happened... but you do like to 'tempt fate' (which is clearly more vollocks from me, because whatever you say doesn't influence the outcome))! :ROFLMAO:

I am sure I don't influence the outcome, but you are right, I am ever an optimist where boro are concerned. With other games, I have a bettors attitude, and am much more disengaged, emotionally. It will be tight tonight with, probbaly only 1 goal in it. You have to fancy England given Italy's poor form. But, lets be honest, England aint been great either.

Interesting to see how this team does, looking at the Italy team looks like they’ve got a lot of new players too, massively different squad that was in the euros just last year.

Glorified friendly. The nations league is good for 'lesser' nations who need the points.

I feel for the main countries its just a ballache. KDB said as much. That's basically a friendly starting 11. If we had anyone playing you'd just hope they don't get crocked.

The amazing thing is that they are back for pre season in a month or so.

The WC would have started today if anywhere else in the world. So instead we have the nations league where the likes of city and Liverpool players have played 60-70 odd games. Just seems daft.
