Real fresh air, greenary, nice building with sunshine and warm - defintely surprise on some faces - for those driving over 4 hours I thought they would have come by air.

I'm surprised that people don't realise the players arriving individually is part of COVID arrangements. If they all arrive together and one tests positive in a daily test that's the whole squad out.

A lot of clubs claim they have world class training grounds now but with both England and soon Scotland using ours as their base it makes that claim confirmed now.

It’s not like they haven’t been getting tested multiple times a week for the last 15 months.

It would’ve made more sense for them to meet up at St George’s and all get tested there and then when given the all clear they could all travel up together. Much better than sitting in the back of a car on your own for 3 or 4 hours.

I can’t be the only one who finds it mental that there are football fans who don’t recognise players in the national team squad ahead of a major tournament.
