Eat Out Help Out

Yea its 50% off the bill with a maximum of £10 per person.

£14 meal would cost £7
£20 meal would cost £10
£30 meal would cost £20

You know what, i knew that aswell not sure how went off on that much tangent. I even posted last time on a thread about this that my last meal would have cost £17.50 😬

Ill put that down to the fact ive been listening to same 30 second loop of a trumpet for the last hour on hold!

Anyways still great value... and its for the business sector to recover. Something ill be partaking in (and getting a nice discount)

I'll take advantage of it. May go to Randy's place one afternoon.

Are you learning the trumpet or summat?

I’m on hold trying to speak to the Tech team at my work. Unfortunately it was a 110 minute wait when i called and i have no choice to wait. I have things to do before tomorrow so cant sack it off until tomorrow.

Get to randys place the food is really nice and its a nice place too. Actually alot bigger than it looks too.

Randy 1st time i came in you had plum porter as i presume a guest ale. Get that back in went well with my lunch

I'll recommend they get it back. We've got a an outdoor beer garden now aswell for those who don't want to sit inside. Non smoking as well. Everything is spaced out inside too, made easier by the fact we are only doing table service for drinks now so have been able to move tables about easier.

Is that the plumb porter from Titanic brewery?

It certainly was. Love it. I had once had it with fish n chips in Whitby too. Anytime I spot it I get it.

Good man Randy if it makes an appearance I’ll be in. It is very popular in the real ale pubs tends to sell out very quickly

I've passed the request up the chain of command.
😊
They are looking at guest ales this week for next week I believe.

I like the Royal Oak in Ayton...if that is where you work Randy
Good selection of ales, Wainwright, Landlord and Theakson usually...

The salmon is a favourite of mine Randy (y)
We've adjusted the salmon dish. It's cooked in a citrus butter now coated in a blackened spice.

I may have an opportunity to make use of this as we've booked a staycation just outside of Bath. I'll only go to an independent though as going to a chain is a stretch too far for me.

Next time someone complains about benefits scroungers buying booze and fags with their dole money I hope someone reminds them of the time they got salmon cooked in a citrus butter coated in a blackened spice with their benefits handouts.

Nice treat for them if they want to do that and at the same time providing a vital boost for the hospitality sector
