Top class. My old boss got into the actual Bamboo club through a skylight as he had trainers on and they wouldn't let him in.

I think it was set around The Florists pub near Edgely Park in Stockport.

The whole cast are brilliant, especially the 2 policemen.

Massively under rated comedy. Could never get the cast together for a third series, just left it as a two series cult classic.

They had a big problem getting this commissioned, BBC wouldn't touch it initially so the writers tried to bring a well known comedian (PK) in as executive producer to add some star backing, but he started to rewrite it and be a total d*ck about everything. So they ditched him, stuck to their guns and eventually BBC took it on. So close to becoming a script sat gathering dust on a shelf.

Bit old school I know, but I bought the two disc complete set many years ago.
Its the only reason I still have a DVD player.

They are all on dailymotion. A few ads but nothing dodgy. A poor man’s YouTube.
