Do some of you think you might be slightly over-reacting?

Dieng and O'Brien both have extensive championship experience.

We also have Smith, Fry, McNair, Clarke, Lenihan, Dijksteel, Barlaser, Howson, McGree, Crooks, Jones, Forss.

So that's FOURTEEN players with extensive championship expereince. Plus Hackney, Rogers and Coburn have a little bit of experience at this level, but less than 50 games too.

The players we lost other than Mowatt didn't have extensive championship experience, even Akpom had less than 100 games at this level

How are we 'turning our back on championship experience?'. We actually have more championship games between our squad than we did this time last year.
Giles had championship experience and has been replaced by 2 championship rookies. Silvera has no experience, latte no experience, van den berg no experience. All eggs in the project basket bar obrien and dieng

Yes - there is a huge accumulation of bed-wetting across all social media channels. Quite frankly it is an embarrassment. Carrick must be starting to see what the fans are really like when we're under the cosh.
Grow up.
Drop the "bed wetting" nonsense.
The very last people who deserve stick is the fanbase.
More of them this season, paying lots more to be there and travelling in hordes to away matches.
The crowd are not on players, or manager's back.

How many years of being absolutely **** will it take for you to admit the club is rotten and clearly have no intention of ever making a serious effort to get us promoted or make progress from season to season? Last season was an anomaly and I'm sure Gibson was actually ecstatic that we failed to get back up. Fans have the right to expect better after putting their hands in their pockets year after year for the most expensive tickets in the league with absolutely no effort made to maintain any consistency in the squad.

With some fans we're damned if we do, damned if we don't.

Giles had 50~ games worth of championship experience when we signed him.
Hayden Coulson has 50~ games worth of championship experience now. It means nothing.

I am critical of Gibson, but he will absolutely want this club to be promoted, it is a financial oxygen line.
I feel he is absolutely the wrong man to be making the big calls based on the last 15 years evidence on and off the pitch.
Let's be honest, if he were a manager, a CEO, a Scout, an Operations Manager, a whatever other position in the Company, he would be gone.

People making things up about not creating chances. In the last 2 home games there have been numerous very clear chances that we've missed. Goals both change and win games. We have to stick the ball in the net. If we do things will be fine, if we don't they won't.

We don’t have the quality in the first team squad that we had in March but we’re 24th. Unless you think we have the 24th best squad, surely nonsense there’s plenty worse, then at the very least that difference is down to the coach to sort. I’d give him time to sort it. But it’s on him

A lot of everything is psychology when you get down to it. Do the young players he's brought in have it in them? Well, the young players he brought in last season did. Who can tell ultimately? It was bad today, yes, but Carrick deserves till at least Christmas. He had Boro playing the best stuff for years last season.
No I don't think fans are over reacting for a second. Bottom of table, 1 point out of a possible 15, defensively worst in the division, non existent midfield, strikers that couldn't hit a barn door with a shovel. Honestly can't see how it could get any worse. Oh yes and scrapped a point against a team that should have buried us.

Giles came to us with about the same number of championship appearances as rogers

O’Brien replaces Mowatt like for like

Dieng has more champ experience than steffen

Archer, Muniz and Ramsey had negligible experience.

The rest of our squad have 30 games more experience on average compared to this time last year.

there’s no evidence that we are turning our back on championship experience if we have more champ games as a squad and just as many experienced champ players as last year. The difference is we have a slightly bigger squad with some unknown quantity players and yes we have gone with two left backs who haven’t played at this level compared to one lb who had about 35 games at this level.

I think as a supporter its a disappointing start to the season, buts only 4 games in FFS.
I think the club have made the right moves we couldn't keep in the same furrow of old Warnocks hoof ball, he didnt help signing a few sick players at a very high cost to us - or an older version of Monk- another sxxxhouse in Wilders case.

I m glad the chairman got rid of them, we needed a fresh outlook and players with prospects that we can mould and improve or at least attempt to
We need to build not spend a shed load and regret it later.

I enjoyed last seasons football immensely, it was such a fillip after watching the tripe we had been.

With Scott we need to be not paying well over the top prices for poor players like Britt and Fletcher to name a few and saddling the club with another gang of underachievers , especially at the moment with the Arab inflated prices - which has a knock on effect on prices as they wouldn't be cheap.

Could be with Scott, that Latte proves to be a consistent scorer and with other additions to the squad improve the team.
We need to be more Brentford than Norwich in the long run.
As a supporter I have patient and get behind the young team, not keep being the ever entitled moaner. I live local and have a ST, I'm not a firestick fan or use a VPN. I don't get carried away watching the big clubs.

Nothing a matter with having a say and pointing out our shortcomings or even saying the Chairman is underachieving, but when we do turn it around, they'll all be back on the sofa bandwagon again , of that I'm sure.
