Djed Spence solution

Play him up front as striker. Win Win Win
No money on a potential striker signing
Hes hopeless at defending - we don't have to worry about him tracking back
He has eye for goal scored some good goals for Forest
We already have a better right wing back.
We're already paying his wages

On me head son
GENIUS

Excellent performances that resulted in 2 goals and a few assists, far less than many other players in the league.
Yes because that’s the only thing to judge a RB on isn’t it?
There is a reason some of the biggest clubs in the world have been linked with him. Some Boro fans hate to admit it but he is a fantastic player as shown last season and has a massive future ahead

I couldn't give a stuff about him myself. I thought he looked good when he first started under Woodgate. But didn't justify a first team role after that.
My point is that he has turned his career round this season. Hes now 21 and maturing. He's had a very good season and basing a view on how he was at boro doesn't make sense

The way the pundits on BBC and ITV were talking about Spence you'd think he was a world beater. They were saying this based on rarely (if ever) actually watching Championship football (Ian Wright).

They said many of the top PL teams will be after him in the summer.

Truth is that one is interested but one of their lower priority targets. No one else has shown an interest yet so we are at a stalemate with Spurs.

Hopefully a Brighton or a Leeds might take a fancy to him and we can still get a few mill for him.

Spence certainly made a significant difference to Forest's results. He was in the best 11 of the Championship above a player who has just sold for £17m.

Boro fan's were not best placed to see him play in the last 8 months

Where are all the "biggest clubs in the world"when it comes to actually signing him though ?

Simply because it says something in the papers doesn't mean it's true. He's got all these clubs after him, but he's still at Boro at the moment.

He was playing as a wing back, assists should be part of his game.

Take a look at a lad called Isiah Jones, who also played as a RWB and look at his stats.

Jones who went missing 1/2 of the season? Jones stats should be decent, he was the only one in the team we relied on for creativity.
Spence is the far better player for me

Wouldn’t you say Spurs are one of the biggest?

Well no I wouldn't, they've won the same as us in the last 30 years, and even if they were, your suggestion was that there was more than one of these "big" clubs rather than Spurs, and potentially Forest.

In reality he's still training on his own at Rockcliffe isn't he?

he went missing for 1/2 season, and yet his stats were still far superior to the 2023 Balloon d'or winner Djed Spence who has been kicked out of Fulham, sent out on loan from Boro and had 1 good season with Forest.

Come on, you can’t honestly say spurs aren’t one of the biggest clubs?

And will be playing champions league football next season. Not bad for a player who’s only had a couple of good games if you believe some on here

Will he? Who has he signed for like?

Will he be playing CL football or will the club he's signed for be playing CL football ?

Isn't the fact that they don't want to spend that, the reason he's at Rockliffe?
15/20 million whatever we can hold out for but he will go after all of this, doubt spurs would pull out over a few million
