DJed Spence - I may have got it wrong

I don't know, maybe he would?
Like I said, I know he'll never kick a ball for us again, so the best outcome would be someone putting a good bid in for him tomorrow
OK then let's put it another way, how would you feel if you had been playing week in week out and then was sub every week?
Think what Warnock said about him pre-game was the biggest indicator we’ve had that there is in fact a significant attitude problem, wether that that comes directly from him or people he associates with. I’ve heard his friends were an issue when at Boro.
That is what I am basing my replies to tonybiriyani on.

I'm with you on this, sick of hearing people say they would like him back when deep down they know it is never going to happen. If somehow it did happen, we would have a Braithwaite situation on our hands.
Yeah, previous managers have alluded to attitude and off field problems. He doesn’t want to play for us and turned down an opportunity to return after discussions with Wilder who would of been happy to use him. This ship has sailed now, all we are waiting for either tomorrow or in the summer is the confirmation of his sale and how much pennies we can get.

I think we had to trust CW, as we did his previous managers

I did post a while back saying could you see him performing at a good standard if was used as standin for Jones, I certainly couldnt

Clearly doesnt want to come back to the area, dont think its a club issue, just not settled in the area.... maybe likes a more vibrant lifestyle than Boro offers ... Good luck to him wherever he ends up

Southampton / Spuds and Arsenal all linked this morning. All talk of 10-12mil. That will help with any FFP issues (I'm not expecting us to go out and spend it). That kinda defeats the point of making a few quid.

I presume they just loan him back to forest (or us... Unlikely) as he's played for two clubs?

Hes just another player - everyone has a price.
Trust Chris Wilder - he is already building a team heading towards the Premier League.
Like he said - he wants those who "want to be on the journey".

I would mostly ignore anything warnock says about spence. It's not like warnock isn't known for publicly criticising players he doesn't get along with and defending his favourites, regardless of the evidence on the pitch.

Good unexpected financial windfall for the club, if a big money transfer happens. 12 months ago he would have had a very low value, and he was regularly the worse player on the pitch for us last season.
