I had high hopes for her I thought she would take the 100m by storm, I still hope that she does but some of the girls in the heats looked to be going at a blistering pace.

ive been a fan for a while and she has trained for years at the track where I train on a Thursday night. She is a marketeers dream, articulate, down to earth, intelligent, beautiful and obviously very fast!! I really hope she does well and brings home the gold!!
 
I hope she gets medals in both the 100m and 200m. I agree with bear66 that the 100m is particularly tough. I think some excellent sprinters will be disappointed in the 100m lets hope Dina isn’t one of them.
 
It’s going to be a great final whatever. It was only the heats and DAS may have cruised through Heat 1.

Fraser Pryce looks very good as did Lou.
 
What time is the final? Gave up with BBC's coverage, they were showing golf and dressage instead of the beginning of track and field last night.
 
You don't win a medal by running your best time in qualifying. Mind, it looks like the women's 100m will be VERY competitive.

It's not the BBCs coverage, they are reliant on getting the feed from Discovery+.

For anyone on Sky I think you can get Discovery+ free for a year if you want the full Olympic coverage.
 
10th fastest in the world this year and 11th fastest qualifier for semi finals, so she'll do well to get to the final
 
That Jamaican lass in the 2nd heat was just crazy… the acceleration on her towards the last 20 meters was mental
 
Big shock Dina hasn't made the final. She seems a brilliant person and represents herself so well. Let's hope she finds her form for the 200 metre.
 
Not sure how anyone could think she would take the 100m by storm. She was always going to get smoked by the Jamaicans. They beat her personal best going 80% in semi finals.

The American lass Richardson would’ve had a great chance but obviously got banned for smoking weed.
 
Oh no I’ve been out and missed this - I thought she was in the final so got home in time for that. Poor Dina!
