Derby County - 9 point deduction (with a further 3 suspended)

I thought the 12 point penalty for administration was only applied at the end of the season if they aren't already relegated? If they are relegated anyway it is applied the following season.
If so, they might get relegated with -9 this season and start next season with -12.

That's only if they go in to administration after March.

It's to prevent clubs that already look like they're getting relegated anyway from gaming the system to try and dodge some of the financial issues they're in.

It's rare for clubs to go in to administration this early in a season.

Wasn't that introduced when Leeds did exactly that?

Sorry if this is a stupid question - I've only had time to skim the previous posts.

Are there two points deductions, one for the cheating and one for going into administration?

And if not, why not? Surely there should be.

Message from Derby county.
Hang your heads in shame Boro fans.
This is all your fault.
Nobody would have noticed being a few million short on those transfer fees.
Nobody would have noticed us selling our own ground to ourselves.
The team would have been quite happy with unpayed wages.
The EFL would have only applied FFP rules to everyone else and not us.
Wycombe would have been quite happy getting unfairly relegated.
Had your chairman not suggested this may not be fair.

Why should we get relegated as a result of our poor club management.
What happend to you 35 years ago should not happen to us as we are Derby.
We don't want to be like we were under your Brian Clough.
We prefer the puppet show our club has become.
In Wayne Rooney we trust.
Although.
What's your Bruce Rioch doing these days?
