Derby County - 9 point deduction (with a further 3 suspended)

I wish they'd asked us to come to an agreement on our punishment in 97.

It's more because the EFL want to deduct even more and Derby would take it to arbitration if it wasn't mutually agreed.

I'm sure Derby would be less willing if they didn't already have 7 points.

It's ***** but the independent panels have made it so.

The EFL wanted Derby relegated last season.

Ah yes same Daily Fail that said 21 points deductions last year and guess what ? Nothing happened.

There is a clue ‘I’m told’ so basically the person read things and make it up along with it lol. You need to look at Alan Nixon tweet because he said nothing been agreed.

Carry on calling us names etc but you ok with tax dodgy stuff? Weird.

This is based on last season or later? It doesn't help Wycombe or Rotherham 😕

Why has it taken so long to sort out? This should have been relivent last year.

Because Derby keeping contesting every attempt to punish them, and the EFL has contested the dismissal of charges by the independent panel etc, and it's been dragged out.

Not that I can blame Derby on that, every single club would do the same, guilty or not.

This gets more bizarre (and corrupt) by the hour. In what other walk of life would a criminal get the right to negotiate their punishment.
I get there is plea bargaining but thats nit really applicable here.
These rules get made up on the hoof I‘m certain.

Why the fear of it going to arbitration?

When you look at the inconsistencies…

West Ham and Derby

Boro/Wycombe/Sheff. Utd/Sheff Wed….etc.

wtf is going on? Why do we stand for this sh1t?

Are people not allowed to live in Jersey like?
Of course they are, lots of people live and work there. Some people.live there and restrict the number of Boro games they can attend to try and save money. However they soon realise that missing the matches is not worth the pennies they have saved.

Why is it great news?

a club has been punished, the right thing in the circumstances. But why is it great news?

Because they've managed to avoid the punishment for years and it might finally be dealt out.

Clubs have been relegated ahead of them whilst they've wormed their way out of attempts to sanction them.
