I used to watch the Channel 4 version lots when it was on and heard that yesterday ITV have revamped the show. Is it exactly the same as before or have they made any changes to the format?

One episode now lasts all week as when they phone the banker they have to enter the 4th and 6th number of the unique code, then the 9th and 12th letter of the password, then enter the producers mother’s maiden name amd finally the name of the person holding box 4’s first school.

After that they then need to select an option, then they all told it would be easier to do it online, then they receive an automated message explaining the bank is experiencing a high volume of calls at the moment but your custom is important to us and finally they get to talk to somebody but when asked what the offer is, Stephen Mulhern is told he has come through to the wrong person so they will have to transfer them.

They then cut to an advert break🙈

What have you been smoking?

Anyone but Stephen Bloody Mulhern, worst presenter on telly.
Not so sure on this one. Mulhern is the type of presenter that makes your mother smile. He's out of the same nest as the Geordie Gerbals and can certainly pull an audience in and will make the programme a success.

Truthfully though, I think he's a t1t. ;)

Same format. 22 contestants with a box containing a monetary value between £1 and £100,000. A contestant is picked. In the first round they choose 5 boxes then get an offer from the banker. In the following rounds they choose three boxes and get an offer after each round until 5 boxes left. They then choose 2 boxes until 3 left. After that I think they choose 1 box then have the opportunity to swap your box for the other one at the end. The woman won £11,500 ish yesterday.

I thought she dealt at 17.5k and later went on to show she would have got a 26k offer next round, but in her box at the end was revealed 7.5k. Her expected box to deal ratio at the start was 1.15 , but she actually came away with a 2.33 realised result valuation. Fair play.

Yes it was £17,500. (y)

When they all link hands and shout Blue Blue Blue Blue Blue, they look like they belong in a mad cult escaped from a lunatic asylum.
