Think he should be given more than a 3 game ban for that headbutt tonight, that was an assault and not even comparable with a bad tackle.

Bet Klopp is fuming with that, now defenders know he’s easy to wind up and will be targeted to try and get him to kick off again.

Slightly more force than the usual "headbutt" seen in football but still not a lot of force. Any real headbutt causes serious damage not just feigned falling to the ground.

Just got a text of somebody called KarenC, reckoned it was just handbags from a bun headed numpty bloke who needs to understand that it is now a woman's game and the preferred assault is a threat to have them sleep in the spare room…… again. Football has become so vicious and vindictive since football apparently came home, the mens game now needs more protection, but the womens games sponsor, Featherlight, suggests men come first when it is clear they no longer do or indeed want to.

I’m going to get pelters here I reckon, but honestly, I thought he just squared up, chest puffed, tensed, to someone much taller than him. Yes he made contact, but I honestly didn’t think it was that bad. In fact, on first viewing I thought it was handbags
I doubt most of us on here would have felt much pain from that, let alone fallen over.
For me, there is a question mark over whether he was just doing the instantaneous tough guy squaring up thing, or whether he genuinely did mean to headbutt somebody on their chin?

To be fair, I’ve only seen the clip of the red card incident. If he tried it earlier then that puts a completely different context on things.

Did you not see the reason Anderson pushed him to begin with he deliberately through his head back to try and catch him on the face, thankfully he missed but that was as clear as day and put together you can see he meant both quite clearly.
