Possibly a minority of 1, but I reckon that signing Rose would be a nightmare.
There's a reason he hasn't been snapped up before now and I think that Warnock is too smart to be signing this liability at no cost. Boro have built up a team spirit and that is not DR's thing.
 
I would love him to sign, but just being linked to him has put a smile on my face like I've not had in years. The Last signing I was genuinely excited by the prospect of was probably Downing returning. Before that, probably Tuncay or Alves.
 
How could you NOT sign him if he was made available to us? It would certainly be a statement of intent - Capped 29 times - he is a very good player.
 
Is this a serious thing? Is anyone ITK or is it just a paper link? I wouldn't be able to contain my excitement if we signed La Vie en Rose.

Just the football insider have linked us mate. Whether their is anything in it or not I don’t know but it has certainly rocked up a bit of interest on the board and that’s good to see

Anyone know how reliable this Football Insider actually is? It's an account I see get retweeted quite a bit on Twitter, but I've never taken too much notice. Having a look at their account, they run absolutely loads of stories, so I'm a bit sceptical! Do they have a history of getting anything right?

The answer is like most of these sites most of the stuff is just repeating rumours and badging them up as exclusives. One such exclusive last month as an example ws Filipe Anderson from West Ham to Arsenal. Proved utterly baseless.
 
Signing until January we can afford his 2 month wages ,then if we’re storming the league by then Hel sign until the end of the season when Hel become permanent subject to promotion.

You know I didn't realise he was a Donny lad. Don't think I've ever heard him speak, which is unusual for a high profile prem player.
 
We wouldn't pay all his wages. Probably a small fraction. His Spurs contract is up next year. Spurs need to get him out of the squad to avoid disruption so I assume they'd be happy just to see him move out on loan. And if one of their preferred left backs get injured they can always recall him.

He's had a medial ligament injury and was out for 9 months in 2017 following surgery. Perhaps he's lost his pace or turning ability as a result.

Still seems unlikely he'd come though - though if he has family in Doncaster then we're a lot closer than London.

Watch the Spurs documentary on Amazon Prime, you'll hear him speak, although you'll probably wish you hadn't. Comes across as a right knob when he threatens to "tell teacher" on Mourinho as he explains why he didn't select him.
