He has been brought in to replace Howson long term and people are complaining about his forward play. He is there to break up play and drive forward. His passing at time needs to be more patient from what I saw last night (as does a few of them).
 
I said it after Reading when he came on at 4 up and got shot down. He is an absolute mile off being a Howson replacement. We lost what little control we had when Barlaser came on. Worse of all he was jogging back when he gave the ball away (which was quite often).

Fingers crossed it comes good for him, can see he has some ability in there

Agree with that last bit. The passing last night was woeful. Leniham out of defence, Hackney and quite a few others.
 
I haven’t read all the thread but I’d assume the usual suspects are straight in his back.

For me he just looks frustrated thst he can’t quite find his place and his rhythm in a well oiled and drilled machine that we have become.

You could see last night what he was trying to do but it’s just not happening for him at the mo.

But it will come.
 
Odd how people see the game differently isn't it. I didn't think he was that bad last night whilst also accepting he didn't exactly light the pitch up at the same time either.

That last line is telling, Howson made an excellent "tackle" in the first half in front of the north stand where he out muscled their plater allowing the ball to run out for a goal kick but wont have counted as a tackle or a recovery, yet if he doesn't do it they are in a great position near our goal
 
I like him but agree he wasn’t good last night. Clearly has an eye for a pass, probably more so than any of our other midfielders but needs to get the basic stuff right to get into our team. We like to keep possession so you can’t be giving the ball away needlessly, don’t mind so much if you’re trying to play a risky pass. Looks like he can go past players as well.

I do think he will be a very good player for us once he settles down and gets up to speed with the way we play, I’m sure it’s a huge shift from the way Rotherham play and the size of that club to coming here.

I quoted what you have previously written in a thread which you said you have backed McGree from the start, but have also said that Mowatt will be twice the player he is.

Piling on for no reasons a bit strange. Bandwagon jumper scrolling through old posts to make me look daft. You can only be wrong when you share an opinion now and again, should try it some time

I believe scrolling through historical posts to back someone else on a thread you never contributed on before to make someone look daft could be classed as a form of belittling someone yeah, like I said, form an opinion now and again rather than quote other people’s posts constantly. Will be a better way to engage

You believe being quoted is being bullied?

Not insulting you, not using unsavoury language, just quoting what you have previously written would quantify bullying?

Bully and bullying are words that I don’t believe should be thrown around unless justified.

I do believe you were trying to make me look stupid yeah, you don’t need to swear to do that. If it makes you feel better then good for you
