Yes agree, I said the exact same last week, seen nothing from him since he came to the football club but then NW gers hold of him, sprays his magic dust & we now have a different player

Warnock deserves credit but I think Saville made a point recently that now he’s finally being played in the positions he’s most comfortable in. He is doing well , and contributing on a regular basis. A key player for us this season, and someone I like. Think it’s about time as a fan base we stop banging on about his price tag. But I’m sure as soon as we get beat or he has a bad game it will get brought up again.

He has been an important part of the progress Warnock has made 👍 I totally agree about banging on about his price tag and holding it against him too , just let the overpriced, overpaid midfielder get on with it 😂

No idea what Sav is paid, but we need to get over this business of slagging a player off for the fee we paid. Fletch has suffered from it too.

It's a reason to criticise the recruitment team in some cases, but what has it got to do with the player?
Even if we have overpaid, it's not like we get the money back, regardless of whether we praise him or slate him.
 
I feel for the the lad never really been accepted but the fee isn’t his fault, combine this with playing in all and every position with varying degrees of success.

So judging him on his merits then...he gives his all he shows up outs a shift in and he gets chances.

He’s a real team player and seems to now found a role he’s comfortable in.

I think saville has been good so far this season. He has been important in helping defend from the front in the 352 formation where he has to cover a lot of ground (massive cliche I know) and I think he has been available on the edge of the box for the pullback on multiple occasions but our decision making in the final third hasn't been great. Plus he is great at s**thousery
