Guns n Roses would be awesome.Favourites to headline Glastonbury too with, weirdly, Guns n Roses.
Finally got back in and managed to get 3 but South West and then TM haven’t taken off the balance of a gift card that I had lying around which had 70 quid on, so happy to have tickets but fuming about everything elseFFS Sky fooking WIFI, crashed as I was putting payment details in and now I'm out!!!! I dare say the gift card thing is something that be done via customer service after the fact? If you get in touch they might be able to help - least you got them and when it comes round, you wont even remember about the money! Finally got back in and managed to get 3 but South West and then TM haven’t taken off the balance of a gift card that I had lying around which had 70 quid on, so happy to have tickets but fuming about everything else![]()
That is a very good point, although I am as tight as the proverbial so I will keep mentioning it to the Mrs and lad, in fact I’ll get them to chip in to cover the costI dare say the gift card thing is something that be done via customer service after the fact? Of course they are, tickets for every other stadium and gig will sell out within the same time frame.Genuine question, would people be that fussed if a gig at the Riverside wasn't so rare? I mean they're ok, but are they really that good?
Yes I understand what you mean. For years I hoped for gigs at the Riverside but have not been to any of them. Just cant get away with huge stadiums anymore, plus speaking to people who went to the Killers it was a nightmare getting to bars and for food. I know it was expensive but that is offset if you live local and saves on travel and hotels etc. But even though I have to travel a lot its worth it for smaller venues. Next month I have got John Bramwell @ Eaglescliife, Lemonheads @Leeds, Twisterella @ Boro, The Burning Hell @ Nottingham, Counting Crows @ Sheffield, Chrissie Hynde @ Stockton, Pavement @ Manchester and finally Marc Almond @ York. So fair bit of traveling also Boro games to fit in.Queued for 45 minutes on Ticketmaster, the robbing b***ds - Don't forget to add in the booking fees!!! No standing left, so it's two seats for an eye watering price for my daughter.

I'm off to see the brilliant Rosalie Cunningham at the Georgian in a few days. That was £14.
I tend to agree and spend a lot of time at Rock City and Rescue Rooms down here. As for the bars and not being to get a drink, that was a good thing for me as far too many times Ive woken up the next day and not been able to remember the gigYes I understand what you mean. But you can’t see the biggest British band of the last 15-20 years there.Check out https://www.nevolumebar.co.uk/ in Stockton. Its only £5 to get in, normally have at least 3 bands on, Wed to Sun nights. No queue (or not much of one) at the bar or the toilet. You could go 20 times for the same price of an AM ticket.
They are great venues, along with Bodega. I get up there quite a few times from LincolnI tend to agree and spend a lot of time at Rock City and Rescue Rooms down here.
