Countdown Arctic Monkeys>>>>>>>>>>>

Queued for 45 minutes on Ticketmaster, the robbing b***ds - Don't forget to add in the booking fees!!! No standing left, so it's two seats for an eye watering price for my daughter.

Genuine question, would people be that fussed if a gig at the Riverside wasn't so rare? I mean they're ok, but are they really that good?

I'm off to see the brilliant Rosalie Cunningham at the Georgian in a few days. That was £14.

I dont see what the hype is, I dont mind a few songs but the rest are just a bit meh. I certainly wouldnt be looking to go say if it was at Manchester.
However if any one here is going im sure youll enjoy it

Perhaps unsurprisingly, only tickets left for Hillsborough Park are £165 hospitality on the Friday (which grants access to a separate bar as far as I can tell). Saturday completely gone.

At the Riverside was surprised seats in the South Stand were near enough a tonne. Yes will be a good view from there but right at the back, any issues with sound etc?

Got the West Stand!
Can I still stand up, vape, smoke tabs, bring beer to my seat, shout, wave my scarf, throw ticker-tape into the air, wave flags and sing for the Boro all night long?

I looked at their set list for last few gigs and I reckon i'll know and/or like around a third of their set. Similar to The Killers really knew about a third of them. Neither are in top 20 of my favourite bands but its local music and they're 2 'big' bands. Killers was a good night and im sure this will be too.

FFS Sky fooking WIFI, crashed as I was putting payment details in and now I'm out!!!! Not happy
Finally got back in and managed to get 3 but South West and then TM haven’t taken off the balance of a gift card that I had lying around which had 70 quid on, so happy to have tickets but fuming about everything else 🤬

I dare say the gift card thing is something that be done via customer service after the fact? If you get in touch they might be able to help - least you got them and when it comes round, you wont even remember about the money!

That is a very good point, although I am as tight as the proverbial so I will keep mentioning it to the Mrs and lad, in fact I’ll get them to chip in to cover the cost

Am waiting for the announcement of Pulp's reunion tour for 2023.

I got standing but I found on see tickets that at one point you could only get a ticket if it was part of the "album bundle". Basically unless you bought the album there were no tickets available.

Of course they are, tickets for every other stadium and gig will sell out within the same time frame.

That being said, I've seen a few folk I know who I'm pretty sure have never listened to an AM album who are getting tickets.

As the old saying goes, get off the bandwagon and put down the handbook.

Will be a fascinating gig - new album, from what I’ve heard so far (only 2 songs btw) is going to lend itself to gentle crooning. Not sure how that is going to add to the atmosphere.

Of course, they will dive back to their first album to smash it up a bit.

Yes I understand what you mean. For years I hoped for gigs at the Riverside but have not been to any of them. Just cant get away with huge stadiums anymore, plus speaking to people who went to the Killers it was a nightmare getting to bars and for food. I know it was expensive but that is offset if you live local and saves on travel and hotels etc. But even though I have to travel a lot its worth it for smaller venues. Next month I have got John Bramwell @ Eaglescliife, Lemonheads @Leeds, Twisterella @ Boro, The Burning Hell @ Nottingham, Counting Crows @ Sheffield, Chrissie Hynde @ Stockton, Pavement @ Manchester and finally Marc Almond @ York. So fair bit of traveling also Boro games to fit in.

I tend to agree and spend a lot of time at Rock City and Rescue Rooms down here. As for the bars and not being to get a drink, that was a good thing for me as far too many times Ive woken up the next day and not been able to remember the gig

Check out https://www.nevolumebar.co.uk/ in Stockton. Its only £5 to get in, normally have at least 3 bands on, Wed to Sun nights. No queue (or not much of one) at the bar or the toilet. You could go 20 times for the same price of an AM ticket.

They are great venues, along with Bodega. I get up there quite a few times from Lincoln
