Corbyn

Pretty sure I read that in 2008 leaders, worldwide, worked together to understand what the best thing to do was and, in the main, took similar actions.
It seems like ountries have bunkered down here relying on their own science/economic balance criteria

Already declaring he will not follow the advice for those 70 and above to self isolate it and when it comes along.
fairly certain he will also use covid 19 as an excuse to delay his exit as leader even longer.

he really is that piece of chewing gum on the sole of your shoe that you can’t get rid of, the uninvited guest who stayed until the end.

great news for conservatives as with him leading the opposition they can stay in power for a very long time.
Is there a link to where he says he won't self-isolate?

In that case you are basically saying the only reason he got elected was because people voted for Corbyn in 2017. You don't have a fit of confusion during those 2 years and forget how voting works. Simply put he was a single term MP of 2 years. Not exactly a stalwart of politics and he was rejected by the voting public of Stockton South after just 2 years in the job. Hardly a ringing endorsement
A total stalwart of politics. He spoke in parliament with authority. As I think we all agree now we find ourselves with a nonentity and that’s the point. Corbyn isn’t in power and Dr. Paul isn’t a Member of Parliament. Vickers is our MP and he’s a complete parliamentary unknown. It would have been lovely to have had an expert but that’s the way it goes.

Meanwhile I was out on the bike earlier and it would appear that none of the over 70 cyclists are self isolating either.

Glad someone's standing up for us healthy 70+s. I won't follow it either whilst I haven't any symptoms. Going out and meeting ppl and doing exercise is the only thing that keeps me physically and mentally healthy, loneliness and depression and suicidal thoughts soon set in if you're on your own

Corbyn is brilliant. If he had been elected the election prior we would be in a vastly improved state NHS wise. I also think his numbers at the election led to changes in Tory policy. Moving away from austerity. The only one who gives a **** about the housing crisis, which to many of us is an absolutely huge thing.
It'll be a really sad day for me when the "moderates" usher in another of thatchers prodegies so they can pat themselves on the back for voting left wing.

But for **** sake Jeremy you cantankerous old sod, follow the advice and isolate yourself. Set an example.

Have they been ordered not to in spite of the advice given yesterday of social distancing to be specially relevant to over 70s?

What did Corbyn say?

The Prime Minister's father has indicated he would ignore his son's advice to tackle the spread of coronavirus and still go to the pub.
Boris Johnson yesterday urged everyone to "avoid pubs, clubs, theatres and other such social venues", saying it was particularly important for people over 70.
But Stanley Johnson, 79, said: "Of course I'll go to a pub if I need to go to a pub." Speaking on ITV's This Morning, he said landlords "don't want people to be not in the pub at all".
