Already declaring he will not follow the advice for those 70 and above to self isolate it and when it comes along.
fairly certain he will also use covid 19 as an excuse to delay his exit as leader even longer.

he really is that piece of chewing gum on the sole of your shoe that you can’t get rid of, the uninvited guest who stayed until the end.

great news for conservatives as with him leading the opposition they can stay in power for a very long time.

This is a guy who gets by on the back of being ‘principled’
Badly misjudging this.
Should have steppe down immediately too

Bar the dictators I can’t think of a guy in history who has hung on so long against so much opposition - the majority of the public think he’s a joke , and over the years a lot of his own party have wanted him to go.the fella just cannot take a hint - he’s really not wanted. Labour voters even voted Lib Dem as they couldn’t face putting a cross against this guys name. If anything for the good of his own party he should step down immediately.

Its great if you are conservative there is literally no opposition.

The fact he oversaw a dithering policy on Brexit and seemingly made up the manifesto as the election campaign went along like the WASPI debacle I wouldn't be too sure. He hasn't been divisive so not sure why in the wake of the one most serious situations this country and the world has seen he would suddenly break his mould and become Mr Pragmatic

If he was in charge at least being in total lockdown wouldn't be so bad, we'd all have free super-fast broadband to keep us entertained.

I wonder if he'd rethink his immigration policy of let everyone in?

Relax! Corbyn isn’t in power. The Tories won and it’s all theirs to own!
As we agreed earlier we now find ourselves in a situation where a totally available, approachable, local qualified GP, much quoted and a man of many expert Parliamentary appearances was rejected by the local electorate in favour of a know nothing, no mark.
Matthew Vickers! Where are you? 🎵we thought you were sh***, we were right!🎵

That's how a democracy works... the majority thought Dr Williams was ***** hence why he lost his seat.

Well the virus didn't originate here so the Tory immigration policy hasn't worked.

The purpose of the self-isolation is to reduce ICU health care demand so he should isolate. The converse, he is leader of our main opposition party and democracy is important.

There's nothing stopping him having another mp stand in for him and use technology to keep in contact.

The 'I won't follow the advice' stance doesn't look good especially when others decide to do the same. What's the point of giving advice you're not prepared to follow yourself?

Stella Creasy has a locum MP at this very moment.

Ironically most people I spoke to on the doorsteps told me that he was marvellous but in a fit of confusion thought in some way they were voting for the hapless Corbyn. The rest is history and that’s why we may as well not have a parliamentary representative . The current one is useless.

In that case you are basically saying the only reason he got elected was because people voted for Corbyn in 2017. You don't have a fit of confusion during those 2 years and forget how voting works. Simply put he was a single term MP of 2 years. Not exactly a stalwart of politics and he was rejected by the voting public of Stockton South after just 2 years in the job. Hardly a ringing endorsement

Whether Corbyn is right or wrong on this it’s hardly of any particular interest.
Johnson got the majority he craved to get Brexit done. He needs to get Coronavirus sorted now and without wanting to be political about an international crisis (a bit like the banking problem was in 2008 ) it’s all a big mess just now.
