Bristol City star Tommy Conway is closing in on a £5million move to Middlesbrough amid interest from Rangers, according to The Mirror.
The national newspaper reported [8 August, page 53] that Burnley and Hull City are also interested in the 22-year-old, who is in his final 12 months at the Riverside Stadium after turning down a new deal.

Just a left back and we're done.
Not at your fingertips and definitely not when travelling abroad. My mobile phone didn't even have a colour screen and my PC would've been too big for my suitcase. No internet in 2004?
I must of forgot to pack my computer and modem with me on holiday mate, I feel so stupid now you’ve brought it upYeah I remember back inn 2004, Rob used to hand deliver this messageboard to each of us, and await for us to respond to posts before having to deliver our response to all the members.
First iPhone was 2007 I believeNo internet in 2004?
I was in Greece - no Internet, found a Red Top British Newspaper in a cafe by chance and couldn't believe the Viduka and Hasselbaink signings both together - July 2004. Certainly felt as big as the Juninho signing. This was a mad day! I was in Tenerife with my mate, only a teenager, chasing beer and lasses, think one of us had a boro top on and remember during the course of the day people coming up and saying to us “you’ve just signed hasselbaink, what do you think of viduka signing etc”. Was totally surreal, youth mixed with heat and alcohol, the excitement levels were insane, just won the cup with Europe to come, I’d love the next generation of boro fans to be able to feel those times we felt
Ceefax was my friend for updates.I think I followed TLF's arrival on Ceefax.
I was about to start university; York started a couple of weeks later than other unis, and most of my mates had gone, and I was fairly bored.
Wore out the remote's button pressing 302 so many times.
Oh so Nano was probably meaning “mobile” internet. Thanks MattFirst iPhone was 2007 I believe
It’s pretty obvious that’s what was meant. Thanks
I removed the comment because I could see this leading to a pretty petty debate. The internet was around, you’re quite right
I had an xda in 2002 and that was my first experience of "mobile" Internet I.e full fat web pages with full graphics and desktop layout. Not really, there were internet cafes that many people used before you had the internet on your phone.
In all seriousness this board has been going since c1997 and before then there was Tim's mailing list going back to c1993 or so, and so there's always been a way to access Boro news via the internet.
Now you may have chosen not to use it, but some people did.

Prior to that though there was WAP even and I used to post on forums when on long journeys (albeit it was a painful experience!) on the old style phones with just keypads. Through WAP though there was load of news sites you could pull articles down with. Dread to think what foreign usage charges would have been like though!
