Come on England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I can't understand taking Maguire and Henderson when they're both injured. It's never worked out well in the past when we've taken injured players.

Yeah it's a fair point. Obviously big players but not going to be match fit even if they've fully recovered.

It's absolutely atrocious QVC is a more interesting watch. I will eat my hat gareth wins any trophy ever as a manager

I could maybe see it if it was a more ball playing attacker, have players move around them. Maguire and Henderson require quite heavily on physicality. Even if they get fit enough to play they won’t be at their best.

Also, I don’t understand going to a back 3 when 2 of the 3 aren’t going to the tournament.
Its only a friendly and players are missing, but this a disjointed England performanc.

Probably because they bring leadership, maturity and experience to the squad. That said, JWP should definitely have been called up given Henderson has only just come back from surgery and hasn't played since February.

I think the big difference this time is that it's a 26 man squad, not 23.

There is now room for one or two gambles. If neither is fit to play in the whole tournament, you've still got one more fit player than you would have had in the past.

Looks like we may have 3 RB after all!!

looking at his facial expressions it definitely doesn’t look good!

Reckon Godfrey or White would replace him to help cover centre back or would he let Lingard come in and trust that 3 right backs is more than enough?
