Admittedly, i haven't seen anything earlier than Mystic River but i'm sure theres some great ones in there too.

Josey Wales and Where Eagles Dare are two films in that tiny bracket of films I nearly always end up carrying on watching to the end whenever I click on a channel they are on.
 
Not the best of his films, but I have a really big soft spot for "Every Which Way But Loose" and "Heartbreak Ridge"
 
Letters From Iwo Jima is a stunning piece of film making, closely followed in merit by Flags Of Our Fathers.
