I've just seen the video. Red haired woman wearing a leather jacket I see? Nothing at all environementally damaging about destroying large areas of forest to breed cows. Then using up more land to grow crops to feed them. With all the waste water and waste energy that brings.

But the carbon footprint to replace the glass and then recycle the old broken glass to a new product is also going to increase the carbon footprint.
The aim of the protest is valid but XR activist have to have a rethink about their nature of the protests to highlight the inaction of us all but also to get the general public on board and out of our apathy. Not sure how they will do this but they seems organised and thoughtful on the whole but this and the sitting on top of train carriages last year which prevented commuters getting home left alot of anger towards the group.

XR are planning to cause havoc this weekend, especially in London. A lot of the guys I work with have been advised to stay away from certain areas due to an increase in organised disruption. Network Rail have also advised their staff and contractors to be aware too and that some high profile works are under threat.
