The out of control comment to me always seems daft. It's always in the control of club and player but they defer to agent to get them the best deal, which they will be doingThe out of his control statement seems to either imply that the club might want to move him on. Or that there needs to be room on the wage budget for the club to make the offer he wants. Either way. I'm glad he wants to stay and that he seems to be open to a new contract.
I'm sure he wants to play in the Premier league. But I think he understands that it's rare to be in the position that he is in at the club. I think he'd be open to us making a reasonable offer to him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
I think at his age he'll want the big move, signed and secured, and being in the limelight in the Prem is a big draw tooThe best deal for chuba, realistically, will be to leave on a free. He would get a much bigger sign on bonus, and probably higher wages. I'm sure his agent will steer him towards that because then we are over a bigger barrel.
The risk to him is if he is injured or doesn't hit form, he may be seen as a one season wonder and interest evaporates. I don't think that will happen but it's a factor.
Stunning. We would have let him go for free a short time ago for the simple reason hes not that good a footballer. Now we are getting played like a fiddle. Sign or go. Id take 5m.
Gyorkes and Stewart are different class.

Wow. What have I just read. Did you watch last season? Get to any games? Clearly not.We would have let him go for free a short time ago for the simple reason hes not that good a footballer. Now we are getting played like a fiddle. Sign or go. Id take 5m.

Pretty sure he's trolling, but on the off chance he isn't - yeah, total clown
A post just full of total nonsense.
Yeah but cashing in gives no guarantees of achieving the same productivity, irrespective of how many players you bring in. That's my concern. We've not exactly got a long history of wise spending (not saying your assessment is wrong btw)I don’t know why people are making out it’s all cloak and dagger. From Chiba’s point of view he’s happy to stay and doesn’t want to bankrupt the club to do so, however if say Crystal Palace came in for him I’m sure, and who could blame him, he would jump at the chance.
From Boro’s perspective, he’s got a year left on his contract and even if he has another fantastic season the fact is we need more players than just Chuba, and unfortunately the only way to get those players is to wait and see if we get a good offer for Chuba.
