I am more an observer of the forum than a regular contributor. Like all Boro fans I was very optimistic about this season but because we have been so poor felt the need to make a point and see what some of the regular posters think.
Leadership and management are separate disciplines but with a significant amount of overlap between the two. We know from his previous management success Chris Wilder has the proven ability to do both but when it comes to the Boro he seems to have lost the plot.
After a shaky start to the season Barnsley at home was the ideal opportunity to get a positive kick forward with a decent result under our belt following the defeat at QPR but we sent out a weakened side and got what we deserved, nowt.
Instead of sending out our strongest possible team from the start he appears to be micro managing the minutiae of the opposition and if anyone needed proof of that they only needed to see our starting eleven yesterday.
It was so negative, he was basically saying we've got a point, let's just try and keep that, that's not a winning mentality, as a leader what sort of message does that send to the players.
Currently the buck stops with CW, lot's of rumours and rumblings of discontent in the background, the fans need some real evidence
of positive management and leadership for Birmingham, come guys sort it out. UTB
