Here we go again, after the Burnley and Bouenemouth fiasco's and apparently wanting the Wigan job I can't beleuve we're here again!
When is he going to pledge loyalty to Boro and finally put an end to all this?!
Apparently he was seen at QPR's last game praising the 'Qualliteh' and 'Attitude over Abilliteh' of the squad while shouting he's happy to see the punters, shaking each hand and muttering the phrase 'I'm all in' to everyone he met.
We deserve better!

6/1 is still fairly long, ie it seems like no one has any idea who’ll get it if he’s favourite.

But yes he’ll be linked with every Championship job now.

No way he will get that gig he's going to have to start lower down the league, he shouldn't have soiled himself at Boro

This really should be a slam dunk for wilder as it’s exactly the sort of club he’d go for. So if he doesn’t get this then we know his stock has definitely fallen.

Maybe it was his golden spell with us.

I genuinely think we could have stuck any Northern League striker upfront last season and they'd have been more effective than the pally fanny.
I'm not suggesting we were wrong to let him go, or didn't play to his strengths or anything. Just typical boro that when players who were sh**e for us play against us they do well!

100%. He'd be the new Alex Nimeley. Guess who the Coventry goal was against!

I'm sure he's still probably being paid by Boro, so maybe in not such a big rush to get a new club, especially if he has to take a pay cut. The flip side is you can quickly get forgotten in management (not on this board though!), so would probably want to be back in the game by end of the season/the summer.

Honestly I would of done better and I a) Hung up my boots a few years back and b) was more of a holding midfielder and later right back. Got my knee ligs repaired at Northallerton and that was it for me

QPR is about right for Wilder - not sure of he wants to live in London though. My guess is that he will want to be less than 2 hours drive from Sheffield.

I can't see him getting it tbh. I think his stock was over valued when he came to us.. obviously something happened at Sheffield United which wasn't too favourable. Three strikes and you're out? Can't see him getting a job in the premier league

Monk - Swansea, Leeds, Boro, Birmingham & Sheff Wed
Wilder - Halifax, Oxford, Northampton, Sheff Utd & Boro

Maybe they should team up?

He’ll eventually end up back in the lower leagues where he’ll have to rebuild his reputation. I can’t see any side in the championship taking a risk on him although when the panic sets in anything goes.
