Chelsea at home

Assigning the seats to card holders and buying an extra seat with us was problematic, but eventually done I think. I guess we will see that afternoon.

Got to the payment page and it was refused. I logged out then back in and now my reserved seat is no longer showing. Looks like a phone call to the ticket office tomorrow.
Exactly what happened to me, phoned the ticket office and they said it was in my basket (even though it wasn’t showing).

Eventually they sorted it for me so shouldn’t be an issue for you hopefully.

Tried three different cards and all refused. Tried a fourth and its just worked!
Tried my wifes card and refused. Used my daughters and it worked. May be bank related who knows but sorted. Strangely the original card worked when buying the stream for tonight after it was refused just before.

For those complaining about cards being refused, surely that is down to the card issuer declining the transactions and not MFC refusing to accept the payment type?
Don't know, refused my credit card which I've always used for tickets, then an hour later I used the same card to pay for tonight's matchday live and it was accepted

I've just been through twice to try and assign my dad his Over-65 seat on his ST. Gave up in the end and just paid the £20.

I can't believe the site doesn't just let you lock in your ST against it's usual seat and then assign the non-usual seats to one ST each - it's hardly rocket science.

Let you mix and match afterwards for whatever reason but make the first stage user friendly (and as cheap as possible!).
That’s what I did my seats where already reserved then assigned 2 extra seats to our names was done in minutes ?

Did you have different categories of tickets?

Getting all the tickets in the basket and assigned to 1 extra per ST was easy.

The problem was getting the assignations set up to take advantage of the ST discount for my dad. When I assigned his actual seat to his ST it didn't give the option of SC-Over-65 in the drop-down. It only gave that option in the non-ST seat and charged £20 instead of £15.

Ended up paying a few quid more than I needed to which isn't a massive problem but it took nearly an hour and two attempts before giving it up as an impossible task.

Under tickets there is a drop down menu saying reserved cup tickets. They where in there. I made sure they where assigned correctly as i was getting 2 adults and an over 65 then went back to tickets and bought 2 additional and assigned one to mine and one to my sons. The drop down box for assigning was a bit messy as all the tickets didnt fit on the page properly so was a bit trial and error. That might be where you had the issue ? Went on at 3pm and was sorted in about 5 minutes.

This was where I went wrong yesterday in that I was trying to assign the extra tickets to non season ticket holders who I had in my friends and family section, I didn’t realise you had to assign to the season ticket holder, I assumed that as it was my e-ticket account, they would know there were enough season ticket holders in there to assign extra tickets.

I was only trying to buy my ticket got to the payment page then the payment was refused. I logged out and back in but my ticket was no longer there. Tried the ticket office a couple of times but can’t even get in the queue it is that busy.
Fortunately I am WFH today so can keep trying.

Yeah. I did the first bit with the reserved tickets and it had them set up correctly with the discounts.

Then I went to the stadium view and selected four more tickets.

When I went back to the basket it had changed the SC-Over-65 to just Over-65.

I then couldn't find a combination that allowed it to go back despite assigning the correct Over-65 ST to the seat it normally uses.

The drop-downs themelves were working fine with no display issues. The options available in the drop-downs were wrong.

They obviously have code that determines which options should be available (e.g. I didn't have any SC-Under-18 options as none of our tickets are for Under-18). If they can't code it to assign the tickets correctly then they should just leave all the options available and then do a check when you finalise. They already have a function checking that there isn't more than one extra ticket assigned to each ST.

It would be easier just to let you lock the ST to it's seat if you have your normal seats in the selection though. And if you needed to change the seat assigned to the ST you should still be able to use the ST discount. For whatever reason, the SC-Over-65 option wasn't available on that ST for either of the seats assigned.

Over 16k home tickets sold already, only singles left at present unless you are buying your normal ST seats.

I would expect around 5k seats will come on sale on Saturday @ 5pm, as many ST holders have shifted seats. My advice is move fast at 5pm on Saturday. If you are at Millwall get some else set up to buy. Tickets will sell out on Saturday evening.

STs have until 3pm on Saturday to claim their own seat.

Crazy. For Birmingham I used card to pay for tickets. Declined for travel. Declined for yesterday and had to use a different card. It’s the same card I’ve used all season so no idea why it’s stopped working.

I always move seats for cup games just to watch from a different view.
