Totally agree .In football the answer is YES. It's rare to watch a match that doesn't have multiple instances of cheating, mainly diving and feigning injury. It's endemic and more or less an accepted part of the game now.
Can anyone tell me what advantage is gained by player painstakingly and precisely placing the ball outside the quadrant and barely touching a blade of whitened turf when taking a corner ?
