I'm not in the loop on any of this but I did just YouTube said phone call interview, from 2007 filmed just after the last episode of Jim will fix it ( Cant believe it was on TV that long!) and it doesn't suggest anything other than a young Brand attempting poorly to troll Saville.

It's similar to the Louis Theroux episode in that it was essentially just letting the demon talk horrible words whilst egging him on.

The fact that Musk, Tate and Carlson have come out in support of Brand speaks volume for the very odious individual he clearly is.

What is wrong with all these conspiracy theorists?

These people will use every news story going to promote their own views whether it is relevant to them or not. They have an opinion on everything because that is how they generate content and they know what causes people to react which makes them money. I doubt Brand has any influence on whether they offer support or not, they just know what their listeners want to hear.
