Not yet...I haven't been able to start as the mother in law is in hospital so if I'm not at work or asleep I'm up there visiting. Going back a bit I have enjoyed the da vinci code and memoirs of a geisha

Memoirs of a Geisha is a great book, read it on my honeymoon, not in bed though 😉

Wasn't the main character a pedophile and shouldn't this book be on golascroungers lyrics thread?

Nine-year-old Chiyo, sold by her underprivileged family to a geisha house, faces difficulties. But she becomes a famous geisha, fascinating powerful men. However, her love for one man haunts her.

The wife goes mad when I say this to her when she's watching the film.

A bit left field from Champagne.

I’m not saying I want to play snooker or drink with the characters, it’s interesting in its own way.

Sure there is one in Skelton high street
Sedgefield, Wynyard, Brookfield, Roseworth, Hartburn, Ingleby Barwick, Eaglescliffe, Yarm, Stokesley, Marske, Skelton. They do tend to go for locations more rural or market towns rather than town centre as there pricing is aimed at convenience rather than weekly shop

Co-op are the sole wholesale supplier to Costcutter across the UK & Ireland, and annoyingly their own brand stuff is much more expensive there as a result.

The nearest Co-Op to me is in Great Ayton, which is a canny drive. I have a Costcutter which is a 5 minute walk.

@1finny you will be pleased to hear that I grabbed a box of co-op irresistible mince pies this evening and they are delicious as Which say.

Now you are talking fella. I’ll get the marketing team to ignore Which and we’ll see
’Zoophonic’s Favourite Mince Pies’ out there 💥

I like Champagne but I have to eat something substantial before drinking it, because otherwise it gives me severe heartburn. I am a bit cynical with these surveys, even Which, as they tend to take cost considerations into account but the headlines don't.

Hate Christmas Pudding, Christmas Cake, Mince Pies and anything with Marzipan. On Christmas Day I am going to have a curry.
