Ch4…Air Fryers: Are they worth it?

I was late home, had a frozen chicken and thought, why not... well I know why not now :D
If you haven't already got one, a £10 or so meat thermometer is really useful with an air fryer. Some ninjas have them built in but I prefer a separate one. One with a probe on a cable is better as can leave it in with the lid closed and get alert when it's done.

I'm paranoid with chicken so never cook without one - the old juices run clear thing isn't reliable

We tend to use it for smaller items as you do not have to warm up the oven before you can start. No waiting for 10 or 20 minutes before you can put the pie or pizza in. The saving is not only in time but also cost in electricity or gas warming the oven.

I wonder what you did with the breast of lamb - we'd automatically go for a navarin which works wonderfully well.

I'd like to place a bet that the realm of FMTTM has never had navarin of lamb thrown about in all of its existence.

I wish I’d seen this before purchasing my dual zone but tbh if there’s any reduction on these from now until January sales I think I’ll probably bite the bullet and run both. This will probably be the end of the ove .

I'm currently writing a book entitled 'Your Christmas Dinner cooked in an air fryer' which should ready for the 1st December.

Let me know if you want to pre-order a copy which will retail at £49.99, you can all have mates rates at a mere £47.99 per signed copy.

A Christmas Dinner from Hull.

Remind me, is the rat stuffed or served wrapped in bacon?

We are upgrading to the dual zone - been chuffed to bits since we got the single from Lakeland.

One revelation - buy extra chips from the chippy, next day air fry the remainder........

I wish I'd gone for the FlexDrawer XL rather than the dual zone, I think i'm going to buy this if it drops in any of the sales and I'll use both. Dual Zone is class mind.

Pretty much negates the use of an oven with the massive 10.4L single drawer

You could reduce that down to two devices with a foodi and a grill 😂

I really like my grill air fryer as it has a grill plate heated from below and you can cook with the lid on, which essentially engages the air fryer as well, or lid open which just uses the grill plate so replicates a gas bbq, very good if doing bbq for 2 although nothing like a coal bbq but nice got a Weber, a Traeger and an ooni so right tool for the right job I think.
What was that Gnocchi recipe you did?

I tried my own and it wasn't that good, where as the pics you posted before looked class.
