Celtic

I remember chatting with a mate years ago before one of our big games (can't remember which one) and he said "I can't bear the stress of it all - I wish it was over" But I said - this is what makes football, or any other sport what it is.
It's the intense highs, lows and pure unpredictability that makes it so addictive. Being a Boro fan over the years, you do tend to learn how to roll with the punches

Agree absolutely.
Whenever anyone says a variation on "why do they always have to put us through it?" my reply is that that is exactly what we go for.
I believe people don't go to football for entertainment, and that those who do are mugs: if you want the certainty of entertainment, music theatre and cinema are far more reliable. No, We go for the emotional highs and lows.
I don't think anyone who chooses to follow a successful club can ever really experience the highs that we do, because their lows are never really low enough. Failed to qualify for the CL? That surely can't compare to a relegation?

We were away at Old Trafford and it was in TV. We were winning I think 3 1 at half time, juhinho was playing if someone wants to check the details. I could not watch the second half, I took the dog for a walk.

Going back to Rangers and celtic.....

Let's face it, people who follow these clubs (who are not from Glasgow) are doing it for political reasons and have little or no interest what either teams are doing football wise.
Not true. No matter the reason they started following one or the other, Celtic and Rangers fans outside of Glasgow are very passionate about their football. Especially along the central belt and in Edinburgh.
Unfortunately they are almost forced at an early age to choose one or the other.

Take a look at the first two posts which were alluded to on this thread which is now locked.

I realise that Block21 is now taking a break, but that doesn't explain how McBrid to appears to have hacked his account - there's no way he has made 9,700 posts. Admin may not remember McBrid, but he was a poster on the old board many years ago, and to be honest I didn't find him a particularly pleasant individual, but hey, that could just be me.

There's every way he made that many posts?

He was one of the most prolific posters on here.
Block21 changed his username because he was getting frequent threats against him, posts like this just make him seem even more justified in leaving the board.

I've made 6,500 posts on this board, does that mean that the only explanation is I'm a particularly unpleasant individual from the past?

You misunderstand - I'm saying there's no way McBrid has made that many posts. It's some coincidence if he's changed it to McBrid unless they are the same person, but Block21 was never controversial. Some of these posts don't sound like him to me, his use of words. Anyway, it's no concern, I just wanted to alert admin to the name so this thread will probably be deleted soon.

You're misunderstanding.

McBrid is Block21, it's the same account, that's a random username selected by the admin when he asked to change his name because of abuse.
It's not two separate accounts.

I didn't say it was two separate accounts. I thought McBrid had hacked Block's account so I was simply trying to alert admin to the history of the name. I like Block as a poster and wasn't aware admin had selected the name. I really can't see why you're being so aggressive. I'm off, I can do without this.

I apologise if I've came across as aggressive, but it felt like you were accusing one of the better members on here of being an unpleasant poster from the past because of posts I know were made by him, not a hacker.

Given the current situation, I didn't feel like I should let that sort of comment go uncontested.
