I did notice that and thought that it must have just been my mind playing tricks on me. Nobby bumped a thread last night and there was a snide comment towards me on there that I was pretty sure had been made by one particular poster at the time but it was suddenly showing as having being made by somebody else. Very strange.Just noticed Block21's username has changed to McBrid and his avatar has also changed.
If you click onto his profile as well there isn't an option to ignore or start conversation.

Very strange. I'd wondered have admin given him some "time out" due to the fact you can't PM him but the change of username/avatar seems random.

There's a little picture of a clock next to the avatar when you click on the profile which alongside the disappearing 'ignore and start a conversation' buttons would suggest to me the account has been temporarily suspended.
Can't explain the name or profile pic as I don't recognise it, although McBrid sounds like a 70s detective show.

Looking at their latest activity their is nothing to suggest they would be banned
could have got embroiled privately with 1876, has they been targeted previously by them. Could have asked for time away if things got out of hand

Unless he changes his mind, he's decided to leave the board because of continuously being targeted and threatened by "characters" on here and on the insane asylum board.
Nothing to do with being banned or punished.
I don't think drawing attention to a username change is the most helpful thing either, it's usually done for a reason.

If that's true it's a real shame as he's a great poster, hopefully he'll return. I rely on his info' on lower league players we're linked with so I know whether to get excited or not!
