Why does it have to be internal?
Who is available in the big wide - world?
We`ve got "qualified" people, businessmen and clever buggas, but cant find one "coach" who fits their bill?!
No one can convince me that Wilder`s dismissal only happened after the Coventry game!
This has to have been considered by our knowledgable experienced Board, long before he was sacked?
If it wasnt - we have a problem.

as I’ve said before.. I don’t know about £10m on a striker.. I think we’ll need that to replenish the squad.

Significant portions of this squad are out of contract in the summer.. not sure all of them will be up for a dog fight when it comes down to the last 8 ‘the business end’

I could be wrong but I don't think the ire is with Cattermole himself, rather what his appointment would represent for the club.

It would be representative of taking the easiest and cheapest option, I think most supporters (myself included) would hope the club would have more ambition than that.

As I've said earlier, if it is Cattermole I think it will be for one reason only - that he's the only candidate willing to work with the limitations the club have placed on him.
